Microsoft is Testing Outlook.com Premium but is Mum on Details

Microsoft is developing a premium version of Outlook.com email, says ZDNet. Microsoft hasn’t revealed when Microsoft Outlook.com Premium will be released or what it will cost to subscribe, but we presume that it will charge a fee for the premium service. The free version of Outlook.com includes graphical ads, while the ad-free version sells for $19.95 a year. It seems unlikely that a premium version would be free. Scribd to Make Big Changes to Subscription E-book Service in March

After a tumultuous year in the world of e-book subscription services, last week Scribd announced new changes to its subscription offerings. Instead of an unlimited, all-you-can-read e-book service, subscribers will see some big changes at Scribd, starting in mid-March. Instead of unlimited reading, Scribd subscribers will soon receive Monthly Read credits to allow them to read three e-books and one audiobook every month from Scribd’s library of bestsellers and award winners.

Google AMP Set to Go Live Feb. 24

Google AMP, Google’s response to Facebook’s Instant Articles and Apple News, will go live this Wednesday, February 24, says Ad Age.
