Apparently, owning 858 radio stations and having 90 million users on its free radio streaming app are not enough for iHeartMedia, the creator of iHeartRadio. Amdocs Acquires 3 Firms Including Subscription Billing Firm Vindicia

Earlier this week Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), a customer experience solutions provider, announced the acquisition of three privately-held companies – Vindicia, a subscription billing firm; Brite:Bill, a billing communications platform; and Pontis, a digital customer engagement specialist – for $260 million in cash. Pandora Inks Deals with Two Major Labels for Streaming Music Service

The streaming music wars are heating up, as Pandora inks deals with two major music labels along with more than 30 independent music labels and distributors. These new deals will help accelerate the launch of Pandora’s new on-demand streaming music service which will be offered in tiers: an ad-free tier with limited skips for $5 a month and an ad-free tier with unlimited skips for $10 a month.
