In 2020, the subscription meal kit market was estimated to be worth $4.05 billion. It is expected to grow to $4.75 billion in 2021 and to $7.63 billion by 2024. Given the growing popularity of subscription meal kits, there have been many new entrants, each with a different offering, hoping to capture their share of the market. In February 2018, HelloFresh was the market leader, capturing 28% of the market, followed by Blue Apron at 22%.
