To date, News Corp.’s The Daily is averaging 120,000 readers a week, far less than the 500,000 that Rubert Murdoch says the online publication needs to succeed, reports BusinessWeek.The Daily is a online subscription site and the 120,000 figure is actually a mix of people who pay and people who don’t. The Daily won’t reveal paid subscription numbers.The Daily offers a free two-week trial and many of the 120,000 could be reading for free as part of their trials. After two weeks, subscribers pay 99 cents per week or $39.99 a year to read the publication
