I got an email from ProFlowers.com yesterday. I love their service but I order flowers a maximum of two times a year so regular emails don’t do much for me. I thought it was time to clear them from my email inbox, so I scrolled down looking for the “Unsubscribe” link. Instead I found the nicely named “Email Preferences” link and clicked on it.The wording on the top of the page nearly convinced me NOT to unsubscribe; and, it is a good lesson for anyone who has email newsletter. Why not remind the user of the benefits of receiving your emails and ask them to reconsider? ProFlowers’ wording is clever, personable and persuasive. Can you do something similar with your unsubscribe page?
