Nacha
Nacha governs the thriving ACH Network, the payment system that drives safe, smart, and fast Direct Deposits and Direct Payments with the capability to reach all U.S. bank and credit union accounts and is increasingly being used for recurring payments and subscriptions. There were 30 billion ACH Network payments made in 2022, valued at close to $77 trillion. Through problem-solving and consensus-building among diverse payment industry stakeholders, Nacha advances innovation and interoperability in the payments system. Nacha develops rules and standards, provides industry solutions, and delivers education, accreditation, and advisory services.
In addition to our oversight of the modern ACH Network, Nacha does much more. As a rule writer within the payments space, we are open and transparent by providing numerous ways for stakeholders to have a voice in the development process, which fosters compatibility and integration in the payments system.
The ACH Network
The ACH Network electronically moves money and related payment information from any financial institution account to another in as little as a few hours with Same Day ACH or one to two days (as designated by the sender) with standard ACH. Nacha develops and administers the private sector Nacha Operating Rules for ACH payments, which define the roles and responsibilities of ACH Network participants. Nacha continues to safely grow and enhance the use of ACH payments through collaboration and innovation.

FlexPay is the leading failed payment recovery platform for subscription and recurring payment businesses. FlexPay’s innovative platform uses multiple technologies to achieve the highest failed payment recovery rate, resulting in reduced involuntary churn and faster revenue and profit growth.
The platform has two complementary components: Invisible RecoveryTM and Engaged RecoveryTM.
- Invisible Recovery works directly with the payments system to recover most failed payments quickly without the customer ever knowing their payment was declined. There is no interruption in product or service delivery and the customer relationship continues as normal.
- Engaged Recovery is used when customer help is needed to solve the failed payment, such as when a card has expired or has been lost or stolen. Engaged Recovery uses aspects of behavioral science to create branded outreach communications that motivate customers to promptly resolve the problem and keep their subscription active.
Multiple integration options, including API and access to 40+ CRMs, means quick set-up, no disruptions to billing, and instant recovery improvements compared to traditional in-house recovery methods.
