Twitter recently introduced Analytics for Twitter Cards, an easy-to-use dashboard to track the ROI on Twitter posts that have multi-media elements.

Which begs the question, Should subscription sites use Twitter Cards?

In a word, yes.

After an easy, 3-step installation, Twitter Cards (see an example below from The New York Times) automatically embed multi-media elements into the tweets your audience share with their Twitter followers.

Data has shown that tweets with images get twice as much engagement (no actual data on video shares, but we assume its comparable in getting more engagement).

Plus, Twitter is introducing Twitter Cards for Lead Generation to those sites using Twitter Advertising.
