EB Medicine, a subscription site located in Norcross, Georgia, is seeking a Marketing Manager to champion the launch and growth of the site’s  newest publication.The site is looking for a team player to play an integral role in the company’s growth strategy. You should be organized, deadline conscious, dependable, efficient, attentive to detail, and a team player that is also able to work independently.Job Description:You will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for a new continuing education publication for physicians, implementing specific marketing initiatives and campaigns for the publication, and analyzing and improving results of the campaigns.Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Develop strategic marketing plan, including specific metrics for each channel
  • List Management: Develop and grow a list of prospective subscribers
  • Search Engine Marketing:
    • Develop, monitor, and improve Adwords campaigns to get more prospects and subscribers
    • Identify additional online marketing opportunities, create and launch campaigns, and analyze results
    • Search Engine Optimization: Develop, monitor, and improve SEO campaigns to create high-ranking landing pages to gather prospects
    • Direct Mail: Manage all aspects of direct mail campaigns (identify external lists, grow in-house lists, write copy, design [or oversee] layout, deploy campaigns, control costs, analyze results)
    • Email Marketing:
      • Develop & manage an email newsletter (identify external lists, grow in-house lists, write/gather copy, design emails, deploy emails, and analyze response [open, CTR,] rates)
      • Develop & manage new subscription offers (identify external lists, grow in-house lists, write copy, design emails, deploy emails, and analyze response [open, CTR,] rates)
      • Develop & manage renewal subscription offers (write copy, design emails, deploy emails, and analyze response [open, CTR,] rates)
      • Affiliate Marketing: Identify, develop, and manage relationships with affiliates in order to obtain prospects and subscribers
      • Brand Building & PR: Write and post press releases in order to obtain prospects and subscribers
      • Upselling: Develop, manage, and analyze an upselling/cross-selling campaign to increase revenue per subscriber
      • Competition: Analyze competitors and make recommendations to stay ahead of the competition
      • Website Development & Analytics:
        • Help with the design and development of the publication’s website
        • Review analytics on our website and implement changes to marketing pages / subscription pages / checkout / cart
        • Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales and produce monthly reports, including updates on progress towards goals for new subscriber and renewal marketing and recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

  • Experience in new publication launches
  • At least seven years of experience in direct response offline and online marketing, preferably with an emphasis on response and conversion analysis
  • Proven experience with the use of multiple marketing campaign tactics including direct mail, email marketing, telemarketing, social networking, and online execution
  • Advanced knowledge of and expertise with Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics
  • Excellent visual, written, electronic, and verbal communication and organizational skills with ability to operate on a wide range of projects simultaneously
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to analyze and solve problems
