If you arent an Amazon Prime member now, you may want to sign up before July 15, because this years Prime Day is going to be the biggest one yet. Amazon announced that Prime Day 2019 will feature more than 1 million deals in 18 countries, including epic deals on Alexa-enabled devices and special lightning deals. Starting at midnight, Pacific Time on Monday, July 15, Prime members will have 48 hours to access time-limited deals, thousands of product launches, and exclusive entertainment.

This year, Prime Day will be available to members in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. The two-day sales event is open to members as well as those in the free 30-day trial period.

Among the highlights leading up to the two-sales event is a special Prime Day concert on July 10 (9 p.m. Eastern), presented by Amazon Music exclusively for Prime members. The concert will be hosted by actress Jane Lynch and features Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, SZA and Becky G.

Other highlights of Prime Day 2019 include the following:

  • Nickelodeon is launching 24 new JoJo Siwa products, including a scooter, roller skates, bow bundle and a fashion line.
  • Schwinn has designed a special-edition electric bike, just for Prime members.
  • When a member makes a purchase from FEED, they will get a limited-edition natural canvas tote and FEED will donate 10 meals to the No Kid Hungry free school breakfast program.
  • Prime members can rent Jordan Peeles newly-released horror film Us for $2.99.

Last year, small- and medium-sized businesses had more than $1.5 billion in sales, and Amazon is predicting they will exceed that total this year. 2018 best sellers included the Fire TV stick (worldwide), InstaPot (U.S.), Amazon Basics USB lightning cable (Mexico), Bosch cordless drill (U.K.), PS4 Pro Console (Australia) and Sonic toothbrushes (China).

This year, members can shop hundreds of thousands of Prime Day deals from small and medium-sized businesses around the globe and, for the first time, members will be able to shop a dedicated page of Prime Day deals from U.S.-based innovators, artisans, and entrepreneurs. Prime members can support small and medium-sized businesses this Prime Day by shopping deals from Amazon Storefronts, Amazon Handmade, Amazon Launchpad and more, said Amazon.

Amazon Prime currently has more than 100 million paid members around the world who receive a wide array of benefits including free shipping, access to exclusive deals, Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading, Twitch Prime, discounts on Whole Foods products and more.
