Minnesota’s largest newspaper, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, joins around 100 other American newspapers in adding a paywall to its site. Launching November 1, the paywall will allow readers to view up to 20 articles per month for free (online and mobile apps) before requiring a paid digital subscription.During an introductory trial period of four weeks, The Star Tribune will charge 99 cents per week for full access to startribune.com. Also, Sunday-only print subscribers can add a digital subscription for 29 cents per week. No word on paywall pricing after the trial period.
