Streaming Video Revenues Set to Reach $13 Billion by 2018
A new report states that revenues from online television and video subscription revenues (SVOD) is set to reach $13 billion by 2018. That's a significant increase from $1 billion in 2010 to $6 billion in 2013 for streaming online video. It's also only a portion of the pie as the entire television and movie industry is expected to generate $35 billion globally in 2018 from fixed broadband networks.
